John R. Leibach, M.D.

A founding partner of Digestive Disease Associates in 1981, Dr. Leibach graduated from The Ohio State University School of Medicine in 1972, after which he came to Shands Teaching Hospital at the University of Florida to complete his internship and residency. He then completed a three-year Gastroenterology fellowship at Shands, where he was chief resident of medicine in 1977 and assistant professor of medicine from 1979 to 1981. Dr. Leibach received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1968. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology.
