Thomas R. Beers, M.D.

A member of the Digestive Disease Associates team since 1998, Dr. Beers’ broad experience in gastroenterology includes a special interest in therapeutic endoscopy. He previously served for three years on the Gastroenterology faculty at the University of Florida, where he also completed medical school and performed his internship. Dr. Beers completed his Internal Medicine training at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, and performed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Beers earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Tulane University in New Orleans and a master of science in Biochemistry from Florida State University. Dr. Beers is Board Certified in Gastroenterology, Dr. Beers is active in the administrative affairs of the practice. He has been a resident of Florida since his family moved to Orlando from California when he was in middle school.
