In addition to being required by law, protecting the privacy of medical records is a responsibility that we take very seriously at Digestive Disease Associates. We may disclose your information for payment so the treatment and services you receive may be collected from your insurance company, or a third party. We may disclose information about you for our medical practice operations to ensure all patients receive quality care. We may disclose information to contact you for reminders of appointments with our office. We may disclose information about you or recommend possible treatment options or alternatives, including research, that may be of interest to you. We will disclose medical information about you when required to do so by federal, state or local law.
