What are Hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, are swollen and inflamed veins in the rectum or anus. They can develop inside the rectum (internal hemorrhoids) or under the skin around the anus (external hemorrhoids).
What is Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)?
Inflammatory Bowel Disease is an umbrella term for two illnesses: Ulcerative Colitis, which only affects your large intestine or colon, and Crohn’s Disease, which can affect the entire digestive system in your body.
